Violin / Nan-Hui Kuo

     Praised for her passionate yet sensitive playing, Nan-Hui is dedicated to creating dynamic performances and creative projects.

     She is current Artist in residence of National Sun Yat-Sen University. She is member of Baroque Camerata, Southern Taiwan chamber music society and Tainan Symphony Orchestra.

     Recent and upcoming highlights for 2019-2020 season include her solo recitals in Kaohsiung and Tainan in July, the violin duo concert in Chiayi in November, the CD recorded with Olivier Charlier will release in April 2010 by Baroque Camerata. Chamber music debut at Weiwuying, National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts(the world's largest performing arts center since 2018)

     Nan-Hui Andrea Kuo was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. She started to play the piano with her mother since the age of five, a singer and choir conductor. Later she doubled on violin.

     She studied under Vétonique Bogaerts and Eric Melon for her bachelor degree in violin performance at Royal Conservatory of Liège.

     In 2012, she received her Master degree in violin performance and chamber music at Royal conservatory of Brussels  where she studied with renowned violinists Katalin Sebestien and Yossif Ivanov. In the past years she studied with Ray Chang, concertmaster of National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra.

     She attended masterclasses of Nai-Yuan Hu, Daniel Gaëde and Olivier Charlier.
