Cello / Ping-Chieh Huang

Ping Chieh Huang, DMA in Cello performance of Michigan State University. Born in 1986 in Taiwan, Ping Chieh Huang started playing the cello at nine. She studied the cello as major instrument under instructor of Professor Ling Yi Ou Yang, and graduated from Music Department of Soochow University in Taipei, 2008. Since 2009, Ping Chieh started doing her Master degree in Cello Performance at Michigan State University until December, and continued to study DMA in Cello performance with Professor Suren Bagratuni and accepted as an assistant of the Cello studio. Ping Chieh got her DMA degree in Cello performance in 2013.

Ping Chieh now is an adjunct assistant professor of National Taitung university and Nanhua University and also teach cello lesson in many high schools. 
As a cellist, Ping Chieh is the Principle cellist of Taiwan Soloists Symphony Orchestra, the cellist of Baroque Camerata, and the Taipung Soloists Orchestra.
